Thursday---Napa Valley

Thursday we drove through Wine Country...everywhere you look are vineyards, it's awesome. We ended up doing a tasting and tour at Sterling, which was fun. It is a really classy place and the wines we tasted were all fabulous. We even got a free upgrade since it was close to our anniversary and got to taste a $100 bottle of wine. The self-guided tour explained the entire wine-making process and provided overlooks to see their facility.
Me overlooking the vineyard at Sterling:
Rob and the expensive wine:
They even let us pick some grapes to eat...they were delicious!
We drove to San Francisco, I got to see this bridge for the first time in person. It was SO windy and cold up at this overlook, so we didn't stay long. Jenny---I thought of you the whole time in San Francisco!!! I think I enjoyed it more because of your enthusiastic description! The city was really beautiful.
We stayed with Rob's cousin Meredith and her baby Liam (Buck was away on business, which is too bad because I haven't gotten to meet him yet!). Liam was a real sweety and Meredith was a great hostess...their house is awesome! Meredith---thanks so much for your hospitality and great conversation. We loved being with you!!!
This was our pre-bedtime musical time. Liam is great with instruments...especially his favorite percussion piece you see him with here...he's really talented at this!! It's amazing.
