Monday at Olympic

We left Sarah's Monday morning and took the ferry over to the Olympic Peninsula, which has a huge national park on it. Here's a view from the car window...
Our first stop was to hike a short trail to Marymere Falls shown here. The falls are 90 feet tall. Next, we went to the Sol Duc hot springs and sat in a 105* pool...which felt even better since the air was a tad chilly.After that, we drove to the Hoh rainforest and hiked another short trail. We didn't see any exotic animals, just a little field mouse which looked surprisingly cute in it's own environment! There were tons of moss covered trees...beautiful!

We chased the sun to the west coast at Ruby Beach, where we found more beauty than we anticipated. Here's our view as we sat on driftwood eating avocado...
