We've had some fun this month! we went to a bluegrass show, by a band called the biscuit burners...i did enjoy it, even though i detest listening to bluegrass on the radio. it's true what they say, bluegrass is better live. 
Our next outing was a wonderful spontaneous trip to the National Cathedral to see Handel's Messiah...we were invited last minute to go with a group from church. it was a great time, especially standing for the hallelujah chorus!
our last featured outing was to go on our date night down to see the DC Christmas tree. we got to hear a cute kids choir sing christmas songs (complete with movements appropriate for each song!).
