more kitchen work...

here is our kitchen completely empty and without the wall!! it was wierd the first time i walked in the house and the wall was taken down---it feels so nice and open now.
here's after the wood is laid in the kitchen...you can't even notice it was ever a separate room! the cabinets were delivered on friday and we had until sunday evening to complete the installation so that the countertop template could be made on monday!

a HUMONGOUS thank you to steve and dad grange who selflessly helped rob install all the cabinets. steve's tools are lots-o-fun!!
the new kitchen color: ORANGE...
the hard workers: thanks also to Pete for doing whatever tasks we asked...can't wait to make you all dinner in this kitchen!we also got pretty wood in our bedroom and i painted, it now feels new and fresh and i am excited to move in!

House remodeling

So one of our projects now is some renovations in our home! It has been a lot of work, but lots of fun to pick out things for the kitchen and watch it be transformed. Here are a few pictures of the demolition:
Before we began:We had help from some guys from our singles group to take out the cabinets, thanks Joe and Dan!! The floor is a whole other story...but they have had practice. All the ceramic tile is finally out.
